But there are some problems that may arise if you don't avoid overwhelm. One of the problems is you're not gonna be your best at work and in your home. And you're gonna feel frustrated and you're gonna be unmotivated. And things can even get worse when you don't solve this problem. You're gonna be living a high-stress life on a regular basis. You're gonna get burnt out and you're gonna give up on your goals, due to lack of motivation.
I want to tell you a little story about myself and how I used to be overwhelmed on a regular basis. I used to live a very high-stress life, and I just accepted that was just a fact of how my day was. I was stressed all the time, which led to being overwhelmed, and I just kind of went through the motions of my day and I know that I wasn't a fun person to be around.
And I was constantly sick and just not feeling motivated to do anything besides wake up, go to work, come home, drink wine, go to bed, do it all over again. I lived for the weekends, because I was just constantly overwhelmed and led me to living a very stressful life. And I know that my friends and my family did not like being around me, because it showed, how overwhelmed I was on a regular basis.
So there are some solutions that you will receive when you avoid overwhelm and when you understand the best ways to avoid it. You're gonna actually start prioritizing your self-care. Things like doing regular exercise, meditation, going on walks, reading. These things that we avoid a lot when we're overwhelmed, when we have too much on our plate. A lot of times, we just push self-care aside.
