Let's talk about how you can manage stress more effectively so stress stops running your life!

There are 3 benefits to understanding how to manage:

  1. Being about to identify stress and where it comes from
  2.  Avoid burnout
  3. Take control of your days

As you probably know, when you aren’t able to MANAGE YOUR STRESS EFFECTIVELY it starts to run your life.

Stress can start from the minute you get out of bed!

You know that feeling when you wake up in the morning frantic?

Right when the day starts, you think "Oh my gosh, I gotta do this, I gotta do that."

That's a big problem because it sets the tone for your day. You will lack productivity at work and in your personal life because you are feeling scattered and unable to focus.

Feeling this way on a regular basis increases your stress levels and will eventually take a toll on your health.

Stress is very unhealthy. Things can get worse when we don't manage this problem. Stress can cause disease, weight gain, and unfortunately, people are probably gonna want to avoid you.

I have firsthand experience…..

Just a few years ago, I had a big issue with stress in my life. I wasn't able to manage my stress effectively, it totally took control of my life and it took a toll on my health. I was overworked, consistently under a time crunch, and I had a lot of excuses because I was so busy.

I didn’t make my health a priority because I was on the go. The thought of doing things to elevate my stress like daily exercise stressed me out even more!

Can you relate?

I never slowed down to figure out where the stress was coming from and how could I avoid it. I was just going through my days on auto piolet. My days were completely controlling me.

I ended up getting burnt out and contracted shingles in my early 30s, which is pretty uncommon, and it was all brought on due to stress.

My doctor told me that I had to figure out a way to more effectively manage my stress. It wreaking havoc on my body and I didn’t want to pick other diseases because of stress.

In order for me to make a change, I had to focus on 3 simple solutions for managing my stress effectively.

  1. Identify stressors in your life: knowing the things that trigger stress can help you stop it before it happens.
  2. Avoid situations that cause you to stress: let’s face it, stress is a part of life, but how you deal with it is what is important. When you effectively manage your stress, you will not allow it to affect your health.
  3. Create a morning routine: setting the tone first thing in the morning is huge! When you focus on yourself for just a few minutes in the morning, you will kick off the day on a good note.  Rather than picking up your phone the minute you wake up, spend some time reading a book, meditating or planning out your day. It really does set the tone for your day, and it helps you decrease stress before the days begins.

I'm sure you want to manage stress in a healthy manner. Replace stress with positive vibes in your life. Think about how you'd feel if you were able to manage stress in all aspects of your life. Can you imagine how much more positive, upbeat and productive you'd be throughout your day?
