Let's talk about how to eat healthy with a busy schedule.
Now, there are a few benefits when you figure this problem out. You're going to stop stress eating. You're going to actually eat foods that you enjoy, and you're going to understand that nutrition is simple. It doesn't have to be complicated, but if you don't figure out the answer to how to eat healthy with a busy schedule, these problems might arise. They arise often with a lot of my clients and myself.
So, the first is you're not going to eat enough food, and I know that sounds counter-intuitive, but a lot of times people just skip eating altogether when they don't know what to eat because they're just too busy. Then they turn to eating unhealthy and processed foods. And the last is just feeling sluggish and unmotivated, because if you're not fueling your body right, you're not going to be getting the energy that you need to sustain yourself throughout the day.
But things can even get worse when you don't solve this problem. You're going to end up just stressing and thinking about what to eat all the time. It's just going to be a burden. You're going to have energy crashes in the middle of the day or towards the end of the day when you need to finish your day strong, and of course, most likely going to end up gaining weight, losing that muscle on your body because it's going to turn into fat when you're not fueling your body right.
So I had a client. She has three kids, and she had really barely any time for herself. She wanted to find a simple meal plan to follow that wasn't time consuming, because she was always on the go, taking care of her little ones, and she had a hard time not snacking off their plate, and eating their food. And she was getting frustrated because she found that she wasn't able to focus on her own nutrition because she was so busy all the time raising her three kids. She ended up gaining a bunch of weight, and she felt like she wasn't setting a good example for her kids on how to eat healthy, because she was just feeding them unhealthy food as well, because it was just simple.
But there are some solutions that we can avoid by learning how to eat healthy with a busy schedule. So when you figure this out, you're going to understand that eating clean and healthy does not always have to be complicated, or take a lot of time. It can actually be simple. When you eat fresh fruits and vegetables on a regular basis, you'll have more energy, and feel more motivated, and you're going to actually want to avoid processed food because your body's not going to crave those foods.
