Making Fitness a Priority With Your Busy Life

Making time for fitness can be difficult with a busy schedule, but when you make it a daily priority, you will no longer stress about exercise. It will become a part of your daily routine and you will actually enjoy the process of getting fit.

I know .....it’s easier said than done!

Some of the common excuses that we tell ourselves are:

  • I don’t have enough time
  • I’m too stressed out
  • It hasn’t worked for me before

I wanted to have more energy, lose weight, and manage my stress but I was really burnt out and overworked.

Because of this, I lacked motivation, which caused me to stay up late and emotionally eat after dinner.

I didn't feel my best and I was tired all the time. I put some weight on, and I was the unhealthiest I have ever been. It was a very frustrating time.

  • Step #1:
    Plan out your workouts ahead of time. Put them in your calendar and treat them like an important meeting you cannot miss.
  • Step #2:
    Aim to do your workout first thing in the morning. I know that might be a little hard at the beginning, but when you do it before your day begins, you're going to feel so much more energized.
  • Step #3:
    Cut yourself some slack! Creating a new habit can be challenging so just focus on getting started. Be proud of the fact that you are taking the first step towards being healthier and feeling better!
